Sept – Nov 2017 – ‘Responsible participant’ for Shelley Sacks and her work: Exchange Values [on the table] at De Hallen, Frans Hal Museum in Haarlem, Netherlands; Introducing the project, working with specific processes and facilitating discussions with gallery goers in Shelley’s absence.
Sept – Nov 2016 – Humanitarian/Eco design Project, Skala, Lesvos. Working as both an emergency responder and leading the up-cycling project for www.lighthouserelief.org An NGO set up to respond to the refugee crisis in 2015. Here I designed four items made only from materials cleared from the affected beaches, with the aims of restoring the local environment and used to sell online to create awareness and help fund the organisation. Hosting workshops in the camp I taught others the simple methods needed to continue the production of these items.
